Give them a gift like the Seahawks and they blow it. Goodbye Survivor Pool...
They still have to play Miami. They might win one more. :)
Easy there!!!!.....when Dallas doesn't make the Playoffs, they will be just like Miami, with one exception...we'll have a higher draft pick...and hopefully it's the Stanford QB!!!

Game to watch this week...

Can the Lions stay undefeated and keep pace with the Packers (and realistically end any real hopes to the Bears season this year?)
I don't have a good feeling about the Lions winning tonight...

1. They are playing on MNF for the first time in 10 years (and other than Thanksgiving, they really don't have any "national" coverage)
2. The media is setting them up to fail (by overhyping)... (I think this happened to Chicago a few years ago against Dallas (of course I think that's also
the game where Brian Urlacher got injured in the first half...)

When I posted this I actually thought the Bears had a decent team and that their record was primarily due to playing all these good teams early in the season... I've changed my mind after watching this.... Bears will finish 8-8 at best this year (probably worse).... But my hat's off to the Lions, they answered the challenge posed them and showed that they are a worthy contender for the playoffs this year (either division or wild card)

Looks like Tebow is gonna get his shot in Denver. His stats were pretty poor, but the team looked much better with him behind the center (way behind, he didn't do too well under center) and actually had a spark.

The way I look at it: Orton isn't the answer. That idiot McDaniels used a first round pick on Tebow, so we have to see what he's got. If he doesn't have it, we lose, and hopefully get into the Luck lottery. I'm sure Elway would be thrilled to have another Stanford guy here leading the team in Denver.

I would like to see how they will react if they lose their first game. They are still a young team.

If they lose? Are you calling for a possible unbeaten season? From 0-16 to 16-0 within 3 seasons. Now THAT would have a nice ring to it!!

They do have to play the Packers twice ( one being Thanksgiving) ....... i think they beat them once , can't see it happening twice!!

Given how the 49ers are playing this year, I think if the Lions win today, then I think they could get to 10-0 by the time Thanksgiving comes around because I think this week is the best for the Lions to stumble.

The Lions got screwed on that horse collar penalty. What a chicken $hit call.

And what's up with the uniforms the Packers are wearing today? They're worse than some of the fugly uniforms college teams are wearing.

I think it was the uniform when they first won a professional title?
