There are a lot of great B&B's in Gruene proper. The town isn't very big. Or hotels in New Braunsfels. A 10 min drive at most. Let me see where Kath and Bri stayed last year.

If (and it's a big if) I make it, I will probably make it a day early and go back to San Antonio to visit. A few hours there the last time I was in Austin was too short of a visit.
