two shifts left, both shops I called in PNS about rum said, "we don't have that one, but call back, maybe we can get it by Wed." I should have started this earlier. (tho oddly, it can't be the "we run on Island Time" explanation, because Denny's in Bayside last year both knew what it was, made a call, when I called back a couple days after the first conversation, said, "we'll have a bottle waiting behind the counter for you"

I'm thinking about it, no plans this weekend except sailing if the weather is good, I'm in P'cola Thursday thru Monday. Shall I just look for the loudest group at the Bama?

It was a great trip. Sitting here 48 hours after getting back, and thinking... well, it's only 359 days until the fun starts next year.
and if anyone is down in PNS and looking for a good rum selection:
a) Publix Liquors on 9th across from the Whataburger
b) Paradise Liquors on Fairfield and Mobile Highway.
The latter even had a bottle or 4 of Flor de Cana 18 year old.
pictures are on facebook, and I only regret not getting going earlier to take advantage of the 7/24 feature of Whataburger on the way to the airport.
