We were all here on the setlist page. Take a look! Great show. Hope ours is this good on Thurs.
And the people I know that live in Cuyahoga Falls are quite specific about the identity of their town/area! They think of themselves more as Akronites than Clevelanders.

Like Akron is a step up from anything other than Youngstownians.

The show was great! No problems with tailgating that I saw....definitely was a little more mellow than other shows, but everyone I saw had a great time. Hopefully we won't hear of any other BN'ers having any problems cause I'd love for Jimmy to come back to my hometown next year.

Great show, but did anyone else get screwd up with the water situation. Local news was saying you could bring in water as long as it was not opened because of the heat, and then the gate people said you could only bring in water that was in a cup - and they swore it was JIMMY that made the cup rule. Sort of confusing, and doesn't Jimmy have better things to worry about ? Maybe he was worried that people would throw the bottles ? Either way, was all very confusing!

They swore that, thinking folks would go, "Oh, Jimmy said it, so I won't complain". A more cynical individual would say that a) cups spill easier; and b) cups hold less; leading to c) increased concession stand sales.

Jimmy does have a policy of "no bottles" in the venue. He also demands that anything sold in a plastic bottle at the venue have the cap removed before purchase. He's been hit with a flying bottle or two in his time.

no glass bottles, understood. plastic bottles with no caps, sure. you can stop those from draining completely if dropped. In weather like this, I have questions on the logic.

Concert was excellent. :D Jimmy played a few songs that I had not heard in a long time. Loved that.

BUT the sheriff's were out in full force telling people to "shut them down" when they saw a grill. That is understood but some of the policemen in the 3 marked cars, 3 unmarked cars and the 2 mounted units that passed through lot #1 ALL HAD DIFFERENT OPINIONS ON THAT. Some could grill, others couldn't. No problem as we brought other things to eat. Were made to move the tent 3 times with each move being approved by the 3 separate policeman observing it during one of the 8 times they passed through. Port a potties finally placed by lot #2 at 4:30 but by this time people were already using the woods by our set up. [smilie=asa.gif]

Usual Blossom nightmare leaving but we were prepared for that and just sat back and chilled. :pirate:

If he returns to Blossom I for one will not return to see him there. I understand security and I have been married to a policeman for a VERY long time and he even thought it was excessive. I guess it's more than likely back to going out of State for this bunch of Parrottheads. Maybe we can try Cinci sometime.

Show was great....we got to meet LandShark Girl and PopCorn Jack!! Nicest people you ever want to meet.

IT was HOT, HOT, HOT!!! in the low 90's at about show time.

Lots of problems with the logistics of the venue, but still a great show. Jimmy was back in Cleveland!!! Woooo Hoooo!!!! Sound was awful in the pavilion. Lots of reverb and echo. You could hardly understand what Jimmy was saying. It was great to see Jimmy here, after all these years.

There was the oldest Phan there ...that we ever saw. He was 94 and walked with a walker. He got to meet Jimmy before the show!! Setlist was not much new, but Jimmy could come out and read the phone book and it would be great. In the front row, right section, there was a little girl with her parent dressed like a little hula girl about maybe 8 or so....Jimmy played to her all night and gave her his wrist band and a guitar pick and she got a copy of the setlist and shook her hand...so she had a great time!!!!

The crowd was very into it and so happy to see Jimmy back after 7 years and from our seats in the 4 th row you could see Jimmy was so happy for the reception! The tailgating seemed to be fine....more than ever before. After the show we got to talk to a Summit County Sheriff who said that there were "NO arrests tonight" ! So even though the venue has problems....it was better than before.

All in all great time was had by everyone near us except for the total A$$hole next to me who was so drunk he sat down and started to cry!!!

Jimmy looked great says Mrs. 216! Trim and rested and happy, happy, happy!!! He wore a yellow t-shirt and navy blue shorts with skulls and crossed swords on them. On thing we noticed about Jimmy was he didn't start sweating until almost the end of the show......he must be in great condition!!!! Mac, on the other hand...looked very exhausted.

By the time we went to leave the traffic was great .So there is another show in the books for us since 1980/1981.....Jimmy never disappoints!

Is "Blossom" a company sponsor name or was it just the regular name of the venue? Every time Jimmy mentioned Blossom, I was thinking of the TV show from the early 90s...

Blossom is the name of the venue.

It is: Blossom Music Center.

It is the summer home of the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra.

The Blossom Family of Cleveland gave the money to buy the property, I believe.

Here's a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blossom_Music_Center

no, did not make it north this time, even tho it was Jack's first time in the 216. d*m work and the like. My concert this year is Cinci, where it will be even hotter and stickier. And sadly, LSG/PCJ-less
