Miracle Whip v. Mayo

I like both....usually buy miracle whip, but it doesn't matter a jar of it will last me two years....I don't use it very much unless I make potato salad or something.

Growing up............my mom was ALL ABOUT Hellman's Mayonaise in Mac/Tater Salads. Nothing Else. Thus I was all about Mayo.
Then marriage........wife ALL ABOUT Miracle Whip in Mac/Tater Salads. Nothing Else. Thus I now am all about Whip!

Raised on the sweet Miracle Whip....then we moved to the South and now its Mayo!

The only time I would eat Miracle Whip is on ham sandwiches made by my buddy's hot wife at 5 am before we went water skiing.

Did I mention she always wore a see through negligee while preparing it and made sure we all got an eyeful. Those are the only conditions I will stand for to eat that crap.

Yes, or with the salad dressings. I get it at Whole Foods but some of the local groceries have it too. It's especially good when making a tuna salad or chicken salad. I also use it just like tartar sauce on cooked or grilled fish.

I once was given the task of going to the grocery store with a list of things to buy and bring home. One of the items on the list was mayonnaise and I thought Miracle Whip was the same as mayonnaise. I found out that I was very, very wrong and have never made that mistake again.

My favorite mayonnaise is to watch Laura Calder make it from scratch.

It is not that hard to make and the taste is sooooooooo good.
