Mo'orea

About six months ago, while surfing around, I was looking at a website about Mo'orea trying to work out where the One Particular Harbour would be when SWMBO looked over my shoulder and asked where the images were from.

"Mo'orea, Tahiti" I said.
"That's pretty" she said.
"Even the wholesale prices are pretty expensive" I offered.
"Oh that's a pity" ended the conversation.

A couple of nights ago, SWMBO pipes up "You know that Buffett song, One Particular Harbour?"
"Yes" says I
"That's about Tahiti, Mo'orea, I think" she continued.
"Yeah, I read that somewhere" I said.
Then she dropped a bombshell - "We should look at going there next year, I think that my work is picking up a travel agency for Tahiti"
About twenty minutes later, I managed to recover the power of speech and said "Maybe we should look into it".

Well fingers are crossed. The pilgrimage is on the radar, now I just need a way to survive the extra hours at work that I will need to do...

I realise now why I married her.

The Wifey works for a marketing mob. They do all the backend stuff for loyalty programs (frequent shopper points, frequent flyer miles and that sort of stuff). She does UAT and data verification on some of the programs. From what I can gather the company has been slowly expanding into other marketing type areas such as wholesale travel for specialist destinatations, this is to provide 'rewards' for point holders. I don't think they do retail.

However, I will definately post on progress as we work things out!

I guess that also gives a hint about the image in your sig line...
