I just got off the phone with a dear friend of mine whose nephew was on the helicopter that crashed in Afghanistan.

Since the names have not yet been released, all I will say is RIP dear boy...

Please pray for our service men and women and their families.

word is also that Coronado and Newport News are not good places to be tonight. Team Six personnel were aboard that helicopter and account for more than half the dead.

A grim reminder that wars continue and brave soldiers are lost......God Bless the those that lost their lives & their families.

We are saddened to hear this news. Somehow as time goes by it seems we push the war situation farther and farther into the back of our minds. This is a grim reminder that the war continues.

We are very nervous when this kind of tragedy happens since our son is in the Army National Guard and is being deployed in February. We are hoping his unit goes to Kuwait.....
