Appropos of nothing, I went to a Dartmouth/Columbia football game years ago. At halftime the Columbia marching band took the field. They wore green blazers and white party hats. They then proceeded into formation. Half of them made a nose and the rest were cocaine going up it. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

So I just googled and tried to get the Bambi image and found that St. Hubert is the patron saint of hunters! Who Knew???and our mascot was a Bambi???? someone has a very sick sense of humor.

You know, being raised in an Irish Catholic neighborhood in Philly...saints come and go...Hubert's was just the neighborhood Catholic Girls HS...I never remember ever ever being taught who St. Hubert was.......

junior college - Nassau Community College Lions, blue and orange


college - Adelphi Panthers, brown and gold


grad school - St. John's Redmen, red and white
They have since changed the name to Red Storm, Redmen was deemed politically incorrect.



The undergraduate school at my law school didn't have an athletic program so as far as I know there wasn't a mascot.

lots of cool old buildings in that area. must have been pretty cool when they were up, running, and cranking out product.

The colors have always been black and gold (it looked bright yellow). In the 70's the uniforms looked like the Steelers, right down to a round decal on one side of the helmet.

The gold has been changed to Vegas Gold and the logo is standard for all sports.

Prendie Panda (74) and we played you guys for the basketball championship and we won.................. small world Nittany Lion for the College years.
