I like ZBB a lot but certainly understand why others don't. I wonder if those who would pigeonhole ZBB as a Buffett wanna-be have ever seen a whole show; the band will go off and jam for ten minutes at a time. I've discovered many an artist I now like through the musical tastes of my Buffett friends. Grace Potter is an excellent example; I'd never heard of her before. It'd be nice if we could simply state who we like and who we don't like, and why, without someone else bashing... *sigh*
As frequently as the girls and I listen to some country music here at home, husband was never a fan......unitl, at the last minute we got tix to ZBB last year (you remember that nite Jen :D ). After seeing the show and the jamming, hubby now thinks he is Mr. Country   My point is, that thru him being able to see ZBB (whom I had learned about from BN) he has in turn tuned into a whole new genre of music he never would have listened to before. :D So I agree, we may/may not like a certain artist, but you never know what it will lead you to if you listen to other peoples suggestions.

See, I'm kind of the same way. As a general rule, I don't like contemporary country music....but ZBB has softened me a little....and then Kenny plays with the goddess Grace Potter and forces me to listen to him.....and then I go to a Toby Keith concert last week......hold me, I'm scared.
