Rumor has it that after all the continuing turmoil on Wall Street and the world's stock markets, now Warren Buffett is seriously looking at Jimmy's financial model and wondering who might be worth more long term......

Doesn't matter how much he's worth I'm sure there are days his head hurts and his feet stink (like 99.9% of the rest of the population)

I have no idea, and don't really care, how much money he has. However, I believe we will all find out one day in a few years when he takes his whole empire (and it really is an empire) public! There is no doubt in my mind that he will eventually sign off on an IPO. It makes complete financial sense. The M'ville brand is essentially a liscensing agreement. Kind of like Trump and Playboy. Going public would raise the funds that would allow him to actually OWN the casino, the coffee fields... Now he only gets a percentage. Given that it is just about the greatest brand anyone has ever thought of (I mean come on, you could sell Margaritaville toilet paper and people would buy it), and since we know he really is a business man, I am confident that he will really enjoy ringing the opening bell on Wall Street.
Then we'll get to read the quarterly and yearly financial statements for "MVL" and you'll know the answers to any financial questions you may have.

Re: BUFFETT CA$H KING?????
he has no interest in owning the product production, that takes too much real work, vs. the silly work of cashing royalty checks. However going public makes perfect sense, since the Mville brand is so tightly tied to him. Once he retires in time the empire collapses. By going public before he retires, he gets to cash out and not have to deal with a declining brand image over time.jbfins wrote:I have no idea, and don't really care, how much money he has.
