Does it hurt like hell? Is it swollen? Prolly broken... Those spindley little bones aren't meant for the pressure we put on them when we fall down and go boom

It actually
doesn't It really doesn't hurt that much right now, but I guess this bone is a real booger and the pain will be there, go away, and then come back. There's a whole book on how hard it is to find a fracture in this bone. When I do have pain, it's in all the textbook-broken areas of my hand.
Who knows. I am holding out hope.

Get better soon.
I am at least off the hook for dishes. I am just in an air cast now. Going back on Tuesday for the real deal.
Hubby is way better at taking bras off than putting them on.
Ha ha. As I do with a lot of your post, I just shake my head and chuckle.

Hey, did you ever setup a blog? You were talking about that at one time.

No, I need to, though.

I'm still "maybe broken." Go back for more xrays in two weeks. I have a better splint now, though, which makes life much easier.

Speaking as someone who has "maybe" broken a finger as well as a toe over the years, "maybe broken" is worse than "broken".
Either way it still hurts like hell, but at least with "broken" you know where you stand.
Cheer up and remember — you can survive almost anything that doesn't kill you outright.

Yeah, "maybe broken" sucks. I was stretching my wrist the other night and heard a loud "pop." It felt as though something was popping back into place, and it actually felt much, much better (my pain has never been consistent with the spot they feel is suspect).
Unfortunately, it felt so good yesterday, I kind of over did it and now I AM feeling something where the "maybe broken" is.
I don't do well with ambiguity.
