Margarillas @ M'ville Beach Hotel & JB WAS THERE ALSO!!!!!!

The Margarillas are at the Margaritaville Beach Hotel. Should something be read into this or are they just hanging out and promoting the hotel? Your thoughts please!

sorry to disappoint you all but JIMMY SHOWED UP AT MVILLE HOTEL ON TUESDAYWHILE WE WERE THERE! We apparently walked by Frank & Lola Cafe while he was eating there. We were going to the pool and never looked over there. Corporate had been there since early in the week. Also the Mville Board of Directors was there.....and so was our favorite "Chairman of the Board". Talked to several guests that got to meet him and have pics made! Said he was super nice and friendly! Our waitress yesterday morning @ Frank and Lola's was telling us about waiting on him at lunchtime on Tuesday. WE WERE SO CLOSE!!!

Hotel was FABULOUS!!!! Rates have dropped! If you call the hotel to book, they will also give you a AAA rate. We stayed for $179 a nite, which was right at the other hotels rates. You will have to see it to believe it!

I would consider them Margaritaville's goodwill ambassadors to enhance the fan experience and further connect them with all things Margaritaville. On and around show days, they go out and mingle with parrotheads in the parking lots, have contests, and give stuff away. They also share occasional videos, pictures, and other highlights from backstage, behind the scenes, and on the tour bus. Lots of super cool, way interesting glimpses to the magic behind the curtain. They give away a weekly prize (or two) on facebook called the Double Shot of the Week, featuring assorted Margaritaville swag.


Also from their facebook info page: "Your virtual Backstage Pass to the Margaritaville Lifestyle. Follow the Margarillas on Facebook for behind the scenes footage from the Welcome to Fin Land Tour. Keep up to date on future Margarillas' events and join the team!"

I would definitely say they are 'a facebook thing'. Stuff like this, along with many of the Reefers pages and other artists' pages are what make it hard for me to imagine NOT being on facebook. A way to connect with fans... many are extremely in touch, which I think is super cool.

It's interesting that Jimmy chose to YOLO on the soundside instead of the beachside of the hotel. I presume he was looking for privacy? These pics were taken from the Santa Rosa Sound on the north side of the hotel.
