I'm wondering how long it would take me to drive to Bahia Honda from Key Largo? I'm thinking around an hour. A fellow co-worker said 2 hours. Anyone have a better take on this??

I think I know what you're thinking - I'd be up for that trip, that is a gorgeous park.

Certainly less than two hours, unless you hit crazy traffic and/or construction. I don't think an hour is possible. Legally, at least.

from experience, probably 90 min. on the minimum (to stay legal), to 2 hours. additional if you run into heavy traffic and/or disasters

humm..last year when we stoppedat Dove Creek on Key Largo and then went onto Hawk's Cay (Duck Key) it didn't seem that long. Bahia isn't that far after...
I guess we'll just have to get up in the dark to make the trip from Buena Vista to Dove Creek (5 hrs).

Bahia Honda is around mile marker 37 I believe, maybe 15 or 20 minutes south of Marathon. I'd guess at least 90 minutes south of Key Largo. I'm driving down on Sunday, I'll check it.
