Anyone Watching Hawaii Five-O?
We watched this show from the start last year and enjoyed it. Last night the season 1 cliff hangers were partially resolved but new twists were added. Should be a good season.
If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane ...

I always have to choose between 5 0 and Castle. Unless it's a rerun, I choose Castle.

Five-O is really a show built around a continuing story line but you can watch missed episodes at cbs.com

When I didn't have a TV I heard a lot of people raving about this show so I went online and watched one episode. I thought it was awful. Scott Caan may be the worst actor I've ever seen. Now that I have a TV I don't plan on wasting my time watching it again.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Have to agree. We'll watch the show from time to time, but Caan is tough to stomach.LIPH wrote:When I didn't have a TV I heard a lot of people raving about this show so I went online and watched one episode. Agreed..he's not going to win an Emmy but the rest of the cast, scenery, and story lines carry it for me.

Re: Anyone Watching Hawaii Five-O?
Me too....I watch Castle and record Hawaii 5-0 in the den. Getting the hubby to let me watch Castle instead of Pawn Stars was a real coup, last night. Thank goodness they rerun the episodes over and over (of Pawn Stars). I have a feeling Thursday night is going to be a battle, also. Now that he's retired, he doesn't go to bed at 9 anymorenutmeg wrote:JollyMon66 wrote:We watched this show from the start last year and enjoyed it. The last 10 seconds was a wild twist....and should make for an interesting season.....I'm hoping Terry Quinn becomes a regular....I liked his character.

Yes!C-Dawg wrote:The last 10 seconds was a wild twist....and should make for an interesting season.....I'm hoping Terry Quinn becomes a regular....I liked his character.
I didn't catch if there were any subtle Lost references or looks exchanged between him and Daniel Dae Kim. But he was a good fit.
Also looking forward to Person of Interest w/ Michael Emerson.

I didn't notice any LOST references, but his character did resemble Locke..... in his confidence of things, as if he knew how it would all turn out in advance.buffettbride wrote:Yes!C-Dawg wrote:The last 10 seconds was a wild twist....and should make for an interesting season.....I'm hoping Terry Quinn becomes a regular....I liked his character.

Caan is no James MacArthur, not by a long, long shot. But I really do like the show. They've managed to capture the feel without making a copy.

Re: Anyone Watching Hawaii Five-O?
I saw no problem with Caan's acting. It could be hating just for the sake of hating.
I watched the first few episodes and thought it was really good but I quit watching really for no reason.
There are few shows that I go out of my way to watch. I'll probably catch up on dvd one day.
