Superheavy
Anybody listening to this? It's Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart from The Eurythmics, Joss Stone, Damian Marley and another guy whose name escapes me at the moment. I was listening to it on Spotify this morning. I thought it was a little hit or miss but I kind of liked it.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

I think this one may just go down as one of the worst albums of the year, right up there with the new one from Metallica and Lou Reed. I haven't heard enough from either record to pass judgement on them personally, I'm just going by the general online consensus.

I LOOOOOOOVE Metallica. I'm indifferent on Lou Reed. Not sure I like the collaboration. Here's the link to listed to the new song but remember, you can't unhear it.Tiki Torches wrote:I think this one may just go down as one of the worst albums of the year, right up there with the new one from Metallica and Lou Reed. Re: Superheavy
They've previously said the album was inspired by German writer Frank Wedekind's turn-of-the-1900s plays Earth Spirit and Pandora's Box, which tell a "story of a young abused dancer's life and relationships,"
For that reason alone I would listen to the entire album when it comes out. I'm a big fan of Wedekind's plays. I thought this song was a little uneven, but nothing I wouldn't expect from Lou Reed.

Take me for what I am, a star newly emerging.

I like the single "Miracle Worker" but I'm not really digging the other songs that I've heard enough to buy the whole album
