My sister had them by the bucketful at our family gathering over the weekend... I had one, but I don't think anyone else did! There are still numerous bucketfuls left for her trick or treaters! lol (She's at the end of a desolate street - my guess is she doesn't get any anyway.)

With the exception of Circus Peanuts.....I cannot think of another candy I don't like. I didn't get to 260 pounds by accident.

We had a neighbor when the kids were younger and they would decorate the house and you could walk through the front door, down the hall, through the garage for spooky fun. It was dark with flashing lights and spooky sounds and you had to stick your hand in brains (cooked pasta), eyeballs (greasy olives) and some other gross thing. If you made through, you got a FULL size Hershey bar! I don't know how much that guy spent on Halloween candy, but EVERY kid in the neighborhood ran through that house!

Twizzlers
4 pieces: 150 calories, 1 gram fat, 21 grams sugar Although these carry very little fat, they are filled with sugar which can turn to fat. Opt for the sugar-free versions or dried fruit instead.
I love Twizzlers, but even I don't like the Halloween mini version. They don't taste the same.
i'm a twizzlers addict.....i'll probably have a big bag for the ride down to Key West!!!

i'd get rid of anything with peanut butter in it!!!!....do like mounds and almond joys!!

I even like the circus peanuts. I'm planning on avoiding candy by going to Key West and drinking mojitos.

I remember people who went all out when I was a kid.
For six years now, me and a few friends have been doing a haunted garage with candy at the end.
Seems to be getting bigger and better every year. This time it's extending down the driveway and I'm even putting out flyers.

No hard candy of any kind for me.
Anything else, I'll eat. No matter HOW rich it is, how many calories it has, or how many grams of fat it contains.
I'll be 60 years old on Christmas Day. What's it going to do? KILL me?

Dark chocolate and nuts are heart healthy foods, I don't see a problem.

I love Peanut Butter Kisses, but mostly because my mom is totally addicted to them. Snatches them all up at the store during Halloween season to try and get them to last the whole year.

Those things are so chewy they can rip a filling right of a tooth.

Halloween candy is a precise science at our house.

My daughter (can't have gluten) gives all her gluten candy to my son.
My son (can't have peanuts) gives all his peanut candy to my daughter.
If the candy has gluten and peanuts, then it's mine.

Then of course, there's the mommy tax. And the daddy tax.
