The Weather is Here, Wish you were Beatiful
By: Jimmy Buffett
1980
This song is for Billy Clyde Tuggel. I hope you make it to Tahiti one day.
-- Spoken:
"Play Ball!! (one, two, three, four)"
"Where's my per diem? (Ladies and gentlemen, the Carl Reiner Band)"
"Hey Bobby, where's the keys to the rent-a-car?"
"Jimmy, Jimmy, can I open the show in Atlanta please?"
"Warning! Don't ever start a band!"
Billy Clyde Tuggel was a character from the ABC soap opera "All My Children." His lifelong dream was to make enough money to escape to the islands

Watched soap operas? Better than that (sort of) ... Jimmy has *acted* on the soap All My Children.
In 1982 he appeared as the character Chainsaw McGregor.
Coming in November 2011 he will of course be seen as a guest star actor
on the television show HAWAII FIVE-O.

Jimmy's written quote in the 1980 liner notes for the song
The Weather Is Here, I Wish You Were Beautiful
"This song is for Billy Clyde Tuggel. I hope you make it to Tahiti one day."

he misspells the character's name. It is actually Billy Clyde Tuggle.

So I guess ... "Billy Clyde wasn't insane"!

Who has a name like "Billy Clyde"? I mean, come on. And I thought this was almost like real life, the animal kingdom's Jersey Shore, if you will.

I have a duck named "Duckett", a chimp named "Torque", a cat named "Poof", a mouse named "Anonymouse" and hog named "L.A."

For the record, and I do not why .... my kids think the name "Larry" is just hilarious.

About 10 years ago, a co-worker brought his daughter to the office when we all had to work one Saturday. She was about 2 years old, give or take a couple of months. She was playing with some Sesame Street dolls, pointed right at me and said "Oscar." Being called a grouch by a 2 year old, does it get any worse than that?

Well, I feel so much better now ..... I thought maybe a "tuggle" was the Critterville equivalent of a "muggle".

Be certain to tune in tomorrow
for another exciting episode of "Spirit Channeling"!

It might be even easier, or not, whatever ....
but is a sure way to win BN Critters bling
and collect valuable Critter Points
* .
You gotta post and comment to win.

Congratulations to today's winner PollyJoyceAnna
over on the BN Critter Facebook Page
for correctly identifying Billy Clyde Tuggle.

* redeemable everywhere Critter Points are honored
