Yes absolutely. Like Larry, I'm not a big fan of ALL of the trop rock artists but the opportunity to see the one's I DO like and hang out with friends I only see once or twice a year is the reason I go. I've been 4 out of the last 5 years and each year seems to get better. The only one I missed was to go to St Barts for the Le Select 60th anniversary.
Usually there are shows where you can see some of the CRB on their own and that's always a treat. The food is good, the environment funky and, after all, it's where it all started.

Not in the cards for us this year. We will be partying on the beach Sunday night at the 8th Annual Miramar Beach Burn! You'll probably be able to see the flames from our bonfire in KW. After that, we cruise to Aruba on the Nov. 10th.

Define worthwhile. The 5 times I went I had a good time but I have to say, it was a little less fun each time. I'm a Buffett fan, not a trop rock fan. I don't like trop rock that much because, and I know I'm in the minority here, in my opinion most trop rock artists just aren't very good. Your, and others', mileage may vary. To me, it isn't worthwhile spending the amount of money you have to spend to get to and stay in Key West for MOTM because I don't want to see most of the artists that are performing there and I don't want to hear 20 cover versions of Margaritaville or Cheeseburger In Paradise or Come Monday or, well, you get my drift. And to go because there's a chance Jimmy may show up? He showed up 2 of the 5 times I went and he played pretty much the same songs he plays at all the shows.

Not going. I haven't been in a few years, but it is more fun than you can imagine. Thousands of like-minded friends, GREAT music, sub-tropical weather, fantastic food.....what more could you want ? I will definitely make an effort to go sometime in the future because it is SO worth it, even though it is kind of expensive. In past years, I've saved money so I wouldn't have to worry about the cost, expecially the liquor bills.

I'm gonna be watching all the Key West webcams and looking for all my friends from BN.
