We usually take our annual KW trek in April and plan to do so again in 2012. So wish we could swing doing a second trip some year for MOTM........

Here's wishing all of this year's lucky attendees the best MOTM ever!

I heard Jimmy will definitely be in town.......

we're planning on it.. if situations allow

November is a tough time for me to get away from work.....another reason to retire!

Would love to go but I am not. Mr. Rickie is not into the Buffett thing (at all) and I am looking at being laid off in the very near future. Those two facts mean we allocate our vacation dollars pretty carefully.

However, I do enjoy reading the MOTM thread, seeing everyone's pix, etc. Living vicariously through all the lucky ones...

Wait a minute....Mackinac Island in November? We might have to move up our date about three months.

I don't know if I'm going. I heard the Russian space program was going to start offering commercial flights to the moon and you already know Jimmy is on board to be the first artist to play it. I think I'm going to start saving for that.

Actually, I'm surprised there isn't a BN movement (somehow that doesn't sound quite right) to meet up at Cheeseburger in Caseville in August. It sounds like a mini-MoTM to me. Plenty of Trop-Rock & a pretty liberal alcoholic beverage policy around town. PLENTY of beach! Other goofy activities abound. Only downside is not much for accomodations. I think you have reserve verrrry early for campground.

I thought I heard or read somewhere that RM was going to be at Streetfest or something so maybe you can come along that way!

I most likely won't.
I'm considering making a couple of other trips that I want to do.

They used to broadcast about all the music from MOTM, but they haven't done that in years.

Yeah, I thought I heard something specific to this year but I could just be going senile!

For well over a decade from the late 80s to the turn of this century
I went down to Key West for two sometimes three week stretches specifically when
it wasn't crowded. I loved the feeling of being a local and the lack of crowds.
I quit going about the time KW became a regular stop for Miami to Mexico cruise ships.

Of course at the time I did not know any of you fine people .....

Nope, not going.

We can't make it either...to much other crap (work) going on this year. We are planning on 2012 though.
