Van, trailer and gear stolen in Dallas!
On Saturday, November 12th Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit had their van, trailer and all of their gear stolen from a Holiday Inn Express by Love Field in Dallas, TX. This happened between 2 – 4 pm. The van is a 2006 e350 White 15 passenger van with AL tags (AW86010). The trailer is a Wells Cargo black single axle trailer with Texas tags. There’s a sticker of a wolf on the side of the van window, a Calexico air freshener and a lovely hula gal on the dash. There’s a King of the Road plate on the front bumper.
A complete list of the gear is listed below.
If anyone has any information regarding the van, trailer or gear please call Traci Thomas (615) 473-6687 / traci@thirtytigers.com.
Thanks!

It's not a rumor, the van and trailer were found and miraculously enough, the trailer was still locked.
DFW police found the van and trailer yesterday. We were hopefully that the gear was still in the trailer but when Jimbo arrived in Dallas today he found an empty trailer so please keep spreading the word. The complete gear list is listed below. Thanks!

Here's another preview clip for Live From Alabama which will be out next Tuesday. Here, Jason and the 400 Unit do another Drive-By Truckers song, the one he's perhaps best known for, "Outfit", which originally appeared on their Decoration Day album.

New song Jason and his new bride Amanda Shires debuted at the G & S Lounge in Austin during SXSW this week. This should be appearing on his next record, a solo album he recently completed that Ryan Adams produced. The record should be out in June.

Press release for Southeastern which'll be out on June 11th. Ryan Adams was originally scheduled to produce the record but it looks like he got the boot.
Jason Isbell will release Southeastern on June 11 via Southeastern Records/Thirty Tigers. This will be his second solo album since 2007′s debut Sirens of the Ditch released shortly after his split from the Drive-By Truckers. Southeastern contains 12 new Isbell compositions and reportedly has “some of the most personal songs of self-reflection and discovery he has written to date.”
Southeastern is a more personal release from Isbell as he deals with new beginnings, like the recent marriage to Amanda Shires and his now yearlong sobriety, without being mawkish or getting on a soapbox.
The album will offer a duets with Amanda Shires on Traveling Alone and Stockholm with Kim Richey and will feature 400 Unit members Derry deBorja (keyboards) and Chad Gamble (drums.) The album was produced by Dave Cobb (Jamey Johnson, The Secret Sisters).
Southeastern Track Listing
Cover Me Up
Stockholm
Traveling Alone
Elephant
Flying Over Water
Different Days
Live Oak
Songs That She Sang In The Shower
New South Wales
Super 8”
Yvette
Relatively Easy

The New York Times has also recently done an in depth feature on Jason which goes into more detail than ever before in regards to his departure from the Drive-By Truckers in 2007. It also touches on his newfound sobriety, his marriage to fellow musician Amanda Shires as well as his new record.

During his interview with Terry Gross on NPR's Fresh Air today, Isbell gives Mac McAnally a pretty major shoutout (which also includes a brief Buffett mention), including a heartfelt, acoustic performance of Mac's song "All These Years" which was a hit for Sawyer Brown back in 1992 but don't listen to the interview just for that. Listen because Southeastern is very likely going to be one of the very best records released this year.
