Does anyone else have the iPhone dictionary app? Pretty cool!
Today's word is "fascicle."
Definition: a section of a book or set of books published in installments as separate pamphlets or volumes.
Guess we could try to use it in a sentence?

Walking directly into a 50 mph wind, with the temperature well below zero, the area between my chin and hairline became a giant fascicle.

Cool!
Today's Word of the Day is "apocrypha." (uh-POK-ruh-fuh)
Definition: various religious writings of uncertain origin regarded by some as inspired, but rejected by most authorities.

I once had a dog named Ruffah. He was really lazy. I used to poke him just to make him wake up. When I did that, apocrypha.
(lame, I know, but I had fun doing it!)

She got sent home from work today because she had a nasty case of apocrypha, the doctor said it has settled in her fascicles.

I want you people to know about a dream that KEPT LOOPING IN MY HEAD LAST NIGHT because of this thread
In my dream, my task was to make a sentence using the name of the state of New Jersey and another state. The trick was that I had to use "New Jersey" like "jersey" as in "sweater" in conjunction with the name of another state. Over and over I tried, but couldn't do it. My head is a scary place.

Oh, yes...and Apocrypha was written by Matt Betton and performed by Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers on the Letterman Show.
