The FloraBama for no other reason other than to say you've been there.

In NOLA, try The Gumbo Shop for reasonably priced creole cooking. Also consider Brennan's for breakfast but bring a Brinks truck for the tab.

In the Mobile, Alabama area try Felix's on the Causeway for good seafood.

In Pensacola, we would recommend Peg Leg Pete's and Flounders for a good time.

Singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett's new $48 million Margaritaville Casino & Restaurant is under construction in Biloxi and should open in May 2012, according to Creel. The casino complex will be built in three phases, with the $48 million first phase featuring a 68,000-square-foot casino, a restaurant and bar overlooking Biloxi's Back Bay, a 17,000-seat event center and a boat dock with slips so guests can pull their boats up to the casino.
17,000 event center...hmmm

I'm not impressed with the Hangout.
I've only been there during the day,
so maybe it's a better nightspot.

Where would you stay if you could land anywhere in between the Pensacola and Biloxi area? Keep in mind I do need some type of entetainment close by, besides the ocean.

I'm telling you he is getting ready to ease up off of the road a bit and this is part of his grand scheme. Jimmy looooves the stage. He's going to have his own private auditorium with a boat docked outside in the area he grew up in.
Not a bad plan at all.
