Jimmy & The Reefers Save Christmas

Seasons Greetings One and All,

Just got back from Fiji where Jimmy and the band saved the day.

We were staying at Wananavu Resort, amazing, really, we have spent a heck of a lot of time in the Pacific and it IS amazing, but I digress.

Christmas morning we wandered up to the restaurant for breakfast and the only music to be heard was The Eagles. I ran into the manager and he said no one had any Christmas music on their iPods!!!

I sprinted back to our digs and grabbed my iPod. Robert Greenridge's album "A Coral Reefer Christmas" and Jimmy's "Christmas Island" were on rotation until lunch, when the some of the boys from the village broke out the guitars and uke.

Strangely, after lunch one of the staff searched through my iPod and put on the Eagles later in the day... I quickly slipped on "Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays" and all was put to rights.

I enjoyed Christmas Island this year as well. Hope to add coral reefer christmas to collection for next year.
