Two Season Bowl sent an email saying the show will be Aug. 25th, and they will begin taking reservations for their party next week.

Where do you all stay at? Or should I haul up our RV? If we can make it?

BR-
I normally camp at 2 Seasons for their Buffett Bash. They are RV friendly.
Hope to see you there!

Re: Alpine Valley?
Based upon all the online chatter about the projected Alpine date of 8/25, yesterday I reserved a bus for our trip to Alpine Valley for that date. When I was booking it the woman asked me which date I was interested in and I said 8/25. She said 'Oh, for Jimmy Buffett?' without me volunteering anything about a Buffett show. So, apparently at least this bus company is aware that this is ultimately going to be the date for this show. Also reserved hotel rooms. All that's left now is the official announcement and the purchasing of our reserved seats and we're good to go! Can't wait!

Re: Alpine Valley?
sorry BR! Didn't see this post until now. An RV and camping at 2 seasons would probably be fun. Last year they had camping at the actual Alpine lot also, not sure how that worked out though, we didn't make it last year. We typically either stay in Lake Geneva or even in Janesville and take a coach bus to the concert and back. If you are interested in the coach bus, let me know and I can hook you up. I typically organize a bus, but going to have my friend in Janesville do it this year. We are probably staying in Janesville and working on a bus also for Friday night to take us to both Hemingways and also to the 2 seasons bowl so we can experience both parties this year. Can't miss seeing Steve at Hemingways and seeing Johnny, Ian and the crew.. but want to see how the other place is also, so we are working on arranging both. You definitely should go! If you do bring the RV and need more people for the road trip from KC, let us know.Joetown Parrothead wrote:finsupnorth wrote:I think you are totally safe planning now for Aug 25thzedagyrl wrote:I feel like verucu salt from willie wonka because I want to know NOW... i want to get my hotel and everything since this is my first trip to alpine...Just saying

Re: Alpine Valley?
Anyone heard anything when the 25th date is going to be made official, or when tix are going on sale? I'm moving forward with booking my bus and hotel for this date, but would like to get everything set before I send anything out to my crew..

Hotels for Alpine Valley?
I've been going to the Chicago Tinley Park and Toyota Park shows for the past fifteen years or so, and decided this year I'm gonna give Alpine a try! I've seen others post that they're staying at Grand Geneva, but I would like to find a hotel that has shuttle service to and from the concert (Grand Geneva does not), because, well, I'm usually in no condition to drive after the show.
Does anyone know of a hotel that DOES offer shuttle service?
Thanks all!

Re: Hotels for Alpine Valley?
I dont know if any hotels do specifically, but there are tons of people who put bus trips together that will pickup and drop off at hotels. Including some in the chicago area if that is where you are from. Otherwise, Janesville, Milwaukee, and pick up at Hemingway's in Lake Geneva are a few - they would probably drop you off at hotel if it is in route. Send me a message if you would like info on one from Janesville. My friend Zach does bus tours all the time for sporting events and has done several for Buffett, good people!smedley12 wrote:I've been going to the Chicago Tinley Park and Toyota Park shows for the past fifteen years or so, and decided this year I'm gonna give Alpine a try! Thanks for the info! Had no idea there would be bus trips to/from Chicago - that's ideal! I'll definitely look into that. See you guys there!
