Not yet! But it was Hemingways yet! Summer 2012 is under way... the Beach Bum Band rocked Hemingways tonight, with southofdisorder07 sitting in for a handful of songs! Thank you for the cold ones, Steve! Great to see you!

Anytime Tiki! I owe you one in Vegas also;-)
As far as the frown, just venting like everyone else. We should have heard by now.
Anyhow, Hemingways up and running so now we need warm weather, Jimmy to announce and a party! Geez, if I knew we were still gonna be cold, I would have stayed in Cabo a couple more weeks. Oh well, I had a few songs with my favorite Sammy Hager imitator last night, well worth being cold and staying up later then usual:-) Thanks Johnny (and the boys of course)!
Side note - for all those within driving distance - Fishstix Freddy returns Sat May 26th for the Memorial Day Weekend kickoff. If you can make it, you won't be disappointed. If you have seen this show, you already know, if not, you need to. 4 bands, one stage, music all night non-stop. How many musicians can we fit on one stage this show?!?!?! Quite the party each and every time!
Check out the Hemingways webpage for more details. Hope to see some of you there!!
Keep the faith, only the wino knows:-)))

Miss you Steve - Can't make it for memorial day, but will be there August 25th. Eric was amazed back in October to see that many people at once on stage.. even better with that many people behind the Whaleshark on stage. LOL I think we may come visit you in Cabo next season

I am going to go ahead and plan on the 25th, its an eight hour drive. If it doesn't pan out there are plenty of other fun things to do in Wisconsin!

Agreed! What is the latest Jimmy has ever announced Alpine in all these years of making the stop?
Cheers

Been following for a while to get the scoop, but I ran into something "odd". Parking for the 8/25 show goes on sale this Saturday. No mention of a on-sale date for the actual show (or if there is a show), but we can still have the tailgate. This is on the Alpine Valley site thur Live Nation.

Great find! I am sure it is just a matter of protocol and somebody somewhere is taking too long to make it ophicial or decide on an on-sale date.

personally, premier parking is boring... you get up close - but nothing beats the Alpine Valley HUGE parking lot experience in the grass!

Wow finsupnorth! Thanks for the quick reply. I kind of thought that was what that was. When we walked around last year, there didn't seem to be much excitement around the tailgaters close to the venue. We sure have a great time in the "regular" parking!
Lets hope for an official announcement soon!!!

My guess is that if it gets confirmed tomorrrow, the actual onsale date will be later than May 5.. every other date has had at least a week between when it was announced, and when tickets go on sale.

Idaho boys would love to come back and do it again, but I don't think we could take the humidity of WI in August.
