I'm sorry folks I'll come straight out and say it Living in Alabama for me is basically like living in paradise. If I never see another flake of snow in my life it will be just fine by me. I get to ski 9 - 10 months a year and have never set foot on a frozen lake. I was bred for this climate and I love it.
But these damn tornadoes are starting to get on my nerves. I know you have to pay the weather price no matter where you live and I accept that fact. But c'mon this is getting to be a little much.
Once again we got lucky and offer prayers and good thoughts to our neighbors who weren't so lucky.
I'm tired of all these @#$%#%^#$ tornadoes

I am glad you are safe, but yes, you live in Tornado Alley.
Be aware and stay safe.

Glad you're all ok, but try and keep your chin up.
The folks in Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, etc. have a little experience with this..

You'd at least like to think that Winter would provide some relief from tornadoes. Apparently not.

Stay safe! This is why I"m OK with the trade off for winter. Even the worst blizzard seldom requires you to seek safety in the middle of the night, nor will it destroy your home. It's a massive pain in the *ss sometimes but then spring comes and you forget about it. I'd be scared witless in a tornado situation.

I'd rather deal with a Hurricane.....at least you know it's coming , and can prepare. Tornados , you get a warning , but never know where they will pop up!! How do you prepare , other then protecting yourself.ScarletB wrote:Stay safe! This is why I"m OK with the trade off for winter. Well until last year Vermont had very little worries in the Hurricane dept either.
