Will be heading to Nationals Park 3 hours early again
for tonight's game 5 of the NLDS.

We'll be rooting the Orioles on from afar
but the entire family is going to this game
full of

Not sure, but I believe this is the first time since the inception of the wild card format in 1994 that all four division series games have gone the full five games.

Heard about this on the radio tonight. Less than a 2% chance of this happening. Great post season so far with lots of firsts; Giant's and Cardinal's comebacks, A's and O's heart. Should be some great games coming up this week too.

My kids are crushed .... that was a kick in the gut way to end this season.

Talk about going from the highest of highs ... Werth's amazing at bat in game 4 and his 13 pitch walk off home run ....

Nats add 3 more in the third inning ... 6-0 lead

to a crusher of an ending.

My son is devastated.

Its hard to watch your kids have to experience life's harder lessons. But it could be worse. They could be Cubs fans! Tell them pitchers and catchers report to spring training in February. Hope springs eternal every February, even for Cubs fans.

I remember my father jumping ten feet out of his chair when Bobby Richardson caught that ball off of McCovey. (He still has it, B.T.W.).Baseball really IS a game of inches. Oh, and happy 50th anniversary.
