I have no rooting interest in the World Series but since the Giants just won a couple of years ago, and the rat ba$tards abandoned NY, I wouldn't be disappointed if the Tigers won.

You're seriously holding a 60 year old grudge? Geesh, some people.

Go Tigers!

Only because the Cards lost to the Giants, am I rooting for the Tigers.

They left NY after the 1957 season, it's only a 55 year grudge.

Normally, I cheer for the National League, but it would be nice to see Detroit have something to celebrate!

Anyone know when game 1 of the World Series starts?
Not a big fan of watching Pablo Sandoval's personal batting practice on Prime Time TV! :-?

Ugh! That wasn't pretty last night.

Tonight we are going to the Loons Stadium to watch game 2. Hopefully a better result for the Tigers!

Tiger fans have seen their teams bats go silent a few times this year. This is not the optimum time for that to happen again.
Hoping the home cookin' serves their bats well!
We're down but not out.

Apparently the entire New York Yankee team has been traded to the Tigers in time for the World Series.

Let me be the first to congratulate the San Francisco Giants on a great team effort in becoming the 2012 World Series Champs.
Looked like you had a great group of guys who banded together & played great fundamental baseball along with clutch offense AND clutch defense in order to achieve your championship.

As a Tiger fan it hurts to get to the series & basically have it over before it really gets started, but nonetheless the team should hold their heads high for this years accomplishments. There's 28 other teams who wished they could have been in the Tigers shoes.

Tiger fans realized we had a flawed team that had various holes but we were hopeful that some clutch hitting along with solid pitching could overcome those shortfalls in the lineup.Not-to-be.
Hopefully with a couple tweaks to the team we can put it together & get back there sooner rather than later.
