I heard a rumor that it's scheduled for June 21 (Thursday)... this isn't official, obviously. Just what I heard from someone else.

I contacted First Niagra Pavilion to see if they might give us a hint about JB playing Pittsburgh this summer. Here is my email to them and their reply:

Hello Jennifer,
Can you please tell me if you have Jimmy Buffett scheduled to perform at First Niagra this summer? If so, can you please give me the date or at least the month that he is expected to play? Any word on when the concert and the on sale dates will be released? Thank you.

"Sorry, we don't have that info quite yet. Buffett is doing a summer tour and will be playing amphitheatres so we do expect him to play at First Niagara Pavilion this summer. That's all that we can confirm or know at this time."

I think that is the same lady that called me back last year to confirm Buffett coming to Pittsburgh....AWESOME NEWS....and yes we need a Saturday for sure...have to miss work for 3 days to take off the weekday concerts.....

Haven't been to the Burgettstown show in a couple of years. All the times I've been there the parking situation has been a nightmare. They always say the lots won't open till 1 and traffic backs up and blocks the interstate until the cops force them to open the lots.

Does anyone know if they fixed this? I'd like to go to Pitt this year since Camden was such chaos last year.

It is a great venue except for the parking. No they haven't fixed it. Last year however, they did open the gates earlier and many people were already tailgating by the time we go there and we go early. I can't wait till they release dates. Hoping for a Saturday date. I don't mind taking vacation for buffett but a weekend show would be great. A July show this year would be ideal!

I live in Pittsburgh, so I've never stayed at the holiday inn express and partied with all of the people there... though this year I'm thinking of doing it (mini vacation). Does everyone stay at the hotel the night before, the night after, both? I know Tom plays the night before.

ive stayed there the past 7 years,tom watt puts on a great show the day before the concert,its outside by the pool plenty of room,breakfast buffet and dinner buffet is included in the price,if you all stay there my name is rebel and i make the best pineapple jello shooters,hope to see you all there

Where is the Holiday Inn yinz guys are talking about? This is the show we always go to, would love not to take the drive home after the show but have never found a hotel close to Burgettstown.

Holiday inn express. This is the one Tom watt has been at. Our club rotates hotels. Since we do not have a date yet we don't know where we will be.

It used to be tradition to go on sale same day as St Patty's Day parade.... But there has been a few years it was earlier and later.
