I personally wouldnt complain if they made you show a concert ticket to park in PHP lots. It wouldnt completely stop the issue but would slow it down some.

That is what the Tampa lot did last year. EVERYONE in the car had to have a ticket...

Thats what I meant by it wouldn't completely stop it. Those w/o tickets would have to park off property and walk. It would keep them from filling up parking spaces though.

Debbie was driving, and showed hers. Then they asked for all of ours...never got mine out cause it was in the back in the backpack, and we were holding up the line, so she said to go on.

But a good idea all the same....

The soccer team has HOME games on the following dates:

April 5
April 14
April 25
May 6
May 9
May 19

Man!! Was hoping for a Cinco De Mayo celebration like no other!!!!!! JB in Frisco on May 5th? I'll be in Parrothead Rehab for weeks. With the soccer games lining up lie they do, and I doubt that JB would do a Memorial weekend.... May 12th is looking like a very good possiblity.

FC Dallas has had home games the day after Buffett in the past. That is the primary reason they require the RV's to clear out by noon on Sunday following the concert.

That and they dont care to operate a fulltime parrothead campground

I think this may be true....I checked the rates at the Comfort Suites for the three possible weeknds that have been floating round....May 5, May 12 and April 28.
Previosuly, Comfort Suites had said "not available" for all those dates and they were waiting to find out the actual date and then notify the 300 or so that were on the waitlist.
Just checked and for any of those three weekends, the rate is 89 best available or 75 advance puirchase.
Then called the Comfort Suites to confirm this and the clerk said, "Jimmy would not be playing Pizza Hut Park this year." "He is going to do smaller venues."
Then I thought to myself...maybe JB got "upset" beause the soccer games were scheduled on the dates he had planned to come and ......
now I'm thinking smaller venue...how much smaller??? PHP at 26,000 or Smirnoff at around 16,000...I sure hope so.
