Just for sh!ts & giggles, I looked up in my old emails when we purchased our tickets last year for G.W......March 12th!!! Dave said...you can bet on it..just because it's the sat. of the convention!!

My prediction...and I hope I'm wrong, no G.W. just Mohegan.
I say this because 1.) I thought I heard that the Mohegan thing was a 5 year deal and I believe he's only played there four. 2.) add to the fact that there are all kinds of different things going on...G.W.'s didn't sell out 2 years ago..maybe he's trying to stir the pot a bit.

I'm not sure I want to see a concert there and that would screw up Dave's tailgate plans for food

Actrually the tailgates there are pretty good!!!.....everyone is close together!!!.....Carol , i thought it was a 3 year contract , that could of changed. His wife is on the board for something at MS.

Last year was such a weird year though with that stage dive and all, usually it's earlier than that.

Still can't spend money on a sleep over there !!! Do not like the idea of an inside venue !!

But re sleeping over, the Microtel wasn't expensive, right in line with the places near GW....I think I paid $119 last time JB played Mohegan. And they run a shuttle back and forth to the hotel.

there aren't many hotels near the venue as close as microtel, or as cheap!!!!....for me it's a hour drive to MS!!!.....also, my guess would be 2 shows , a 10,000 seat show, in one of his biggest markets, doesn't make sense!!!

Barb, what Nancy said, there are much cheaper places not that far from the venue - Microtel is really reasonable.
