Pam, no, not really. I know this because way back when, before the internet really came into play, tickets would go on sale in March. Dave and I would be on vaca in Fla. at his parents house every March. We would be calling all kinds of Ticketmaster numbers to try and get tickets. Even when the internet came about, we would go to the library in Punta Gorda and log on there to purchase tickets. So it's really not out of the norm.ScarletB wrote:MacPhin wrote:Just for sh!ts & giggles, I looked up in my old emails when we purchased our tickets last year for G.W......March 12th!!! Good point and I'd be on the road on my way down too at 10AM. ick
My prediction...and I hope I'm wrong, no G.W. just Mohegan.
I say this because 1.) I thought I heard that the Mohegan thing was a 5 year deal and I believe he's only played there four. 2.) add to the fact that there are all kinds of different things going on...G.W.'s didn't sell out 2 years ago..maybe he's trying to stir the pot a bit.
Last year was such a weird year though with that stage dive and all, usually it's earlier than that.
well most of the floor great seats is comped , and tickets for sale on the floor are usually about 250.00ScarletB wrote:Ragtop Girl wrote:For what it is worth really don't want to see a concert at Mohegan![]()

Tickets will be pretty hard to get, and I hate settling for club seats that are in the blocked view area.
The years at Mohegan were okay, not as much craziness as GW. Plus, they were more strict on items you could bring into the tailgate. The ticket prices were higher there also. I heard that our club seats in '09, the last year he played there, were the farthest sections away from the stage...so sucky. Prior to, they were on the direct side of the stage and behind the stage. I didn't mind that so much because we were close. However, being in that configuration, the sound for us SUCKED for the clubs!ScarletB wrote:Ragtop Girl wrote:For what it is worth really don't want to see a concert at Mohegan![]()

I know I saw you guys in the lot last time he played there...did you just come for the tailgate and then skip the show?Ragtop Girl wrote:For what it is worth really don't want to see a concert at Mohegan![]()

Ditto..... An indoor show in the summer would be a letdown.lime rickie wrote: Gah, I hope not...Mohegan is better than nothing, and it's fine for a fall show...but for summer I would really prefer to see him at an outdoor venue.
Considering that he's still announcing April and still stuck in the midwest I'm not holding my breath.TommyBahama wrote:usually his announcements come i two's......who's the next lucky city today after KC!!
no whats weird is, he goes west in March ending a leg in Hawaii on the 18th ......then to Tampa for the 30th....granted a few days off.....plays the 1 show .......then a few days off then to the mid-west.ScarletB wrote:Considering that he's still announcing April and still stuck in the midwest I'm not holding my breath.TommyBahama wrote:usually his announcements come i two's......who's the next lucky city today after KC!!
