Was hoping for some last minute schedule/finance luck but used up all my luck (and finances) with the IRS. So my goal of being a Secret Guest at Hoot Island (can locals be Secret Guests?) ain't happenin'. Just wanted to wish all blue skies and smooth sailing Thursday and sure wish i could join all y'all phine pholks.

I want you all to know:

I found a "Virginia" gift for ETP that phits PERFECTLY in the box my pink Converse All Stars came in.

I am now ophicially on vacation til Sunday. AND

I sort of just realized that I'll have to get up at 4:15 in THE MORNING Wednesday to make my flight.

(I wouldn't do that phor just "anybody" you realize!!!)

Sorry guys, I haven't seen that tire swing in several years. I do remember having to climb an extension ladder to get the rope over the limb it was attached to though.

I mentioned to Lori (pharm), if they get a tire to go 'head and bring it. We'll have fun trying to fling that rope up in the tree....at least until Master Junior Mint gets outta school and comes to climb the tree.

Any ideas on how I can bring my corn hole boards as checked-luggage?

I'd need to wrap them in something, tho they're in a zipper bag....but it's not enough to just toss in the belly of the plane.

Won't fit in my largest suitcase. Won't be buying a bigger one

Go to the UPS store, ship it and then see if someone will mail it back to you after the show?

Hello my Texas friends. Long time, no see and unfortunately it will be a bit longer. I was hoping to make it down for Hoot Island II but it's just not working out. Time and money. I will miss seeing every one this year. Have fun!

Hmmm...break it down into smaller pieces. Then we can somehow "connect" them back together for use. Of course, don't forget about the "weight" aspect too...

Just had a good cry while I was making Vickster's olives. It's been really sad at my house since Saturday ... am looking forward to seeing everyone at Hoot Island II ... will miss our phriends, but we'll raise a glass phor them. Or six.
