So I checked American Airlines size limits for checked-baggage....linear inches no larger than 62....boards are 2.5 x 22.5 x 33.5= 58.5 linear inches....and they weigh 27.2 lbs. but then....springparrot wrote:Use a jigsaw on it???phjrsaunt wrote:Hmmm...break it down into smaller pieces. Then we can somehow "connect" them back together for use. Of course, don't forget about the "weight" aspect too...~Hippolyte~ wrote:Any ideas on how I can bring my corn hole boards as checked-luggage?

OK, bad idea.
They make travel sizes...don't guess that is what you have.

OH THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!
American Airlines gives ONE free checked bag to "Customers who purchase full-fare tickets in Economy Class". I couldn't tell if that's what I bought, so I called.
After navigating the voice recognition software (which I actually think is kinda fun) I got to an agent. I asked if I paid a "full-fare" price, to which she told me the full-fare price was over $1000.....so in order to get ONE free bag I would have needed to spend more than another $700.....suddenly the $25 checked-bag fee looks cheap....but in this case I won't be paying it
....so I'm not bringing my cornhole boards

My issue with SWA from my place to Dallas is NON-DIRECT flights.....and in this situation, I kinda needed to be at DFW for pick-up as I'm trying to squeeze myself into someone elses itineraryclearlakeparrot wrote:SWA bro
But yes, that would have solved this little issue

And I could tell, she said it with a straight face. No chuckle, no sense of "now this is crazy", just flat out, that would have been $1,450,789.63 sir......

You are talking about Thursday? We'll be sure to TRY to do our very best for ya!Dezdmona wrote:I will be there about noon. I can't take MJM out of school until they take the "official" attendance.
I will TRY to get there by 11:30, but can't promise. If someone could put a chair in a parking spot I would appreciate it. Will pay you back somehow.
