Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.
My love is an anchor tied to you, tied with a silver chain.

Hi Phriends,
Just a quick note to express my joy for having spent another blissful day with the residents of Hoot Island. Several have already noted, and I whole-heartedly agree, that it was fantastic to have a laid-back day to spend a bit more intimate time with so many of the folks. These fun filled feeding frenzies always go by so quickly, but this second visit to Hoot Island seemed to last a little longer. We were blessed with some of the nicest weather we’ve had in years and a perfect setting to enjoy it.
Thanks as always to so many of the group that made it possible. I won’t go through a long list, ‘cause I’m sure to unintentionally leave someone out. But I’ve got to thank ETP for the organization and the food and for being our very own pink haired North Texas Woman. Damn that was good meatloaf.
This was also my first time to stay over night on the lot. (FUN) And for that I owe my gratitude to Patrick, Tammy, Chad, Diane and Ginger for their parking lot hospitality.
So until we can gather again, I wish everyone the best. My photos are at the links below.
Cheers,
John Mc

Sure, help yourself. Glad it interested you. Just a word of caution. The file size is rather large.BahamaBreeze wrote:Thank you John for capturing the Levon Tribute!!JohnMc wrote:Hi Phriends,

Is the lot regular paid parking or is it VIP parking (we bought VIP parking when we bought our tickets online)? When do folks normally start showing up (days before or sometime on Thursday)? I'm thinking about bring my guitar again this year and playing a few Jimmy tunes; wondering if that is a good idea or not?
I found this post.
Any other info is appreciated. Looking forward to another great year!

I haven't read back, but someone (BB maybe?) told me about that. We concluded that was the guy sitting near Wes. I did see him pack up a guitar later in the day. I really think these guys were different.PHarmGirl wrote:You may look back in this thread.phjrsaunt wrote:I can't hold my tongue any longer.

Here is the photo John Mc put on photobucket:Baumer wrote:Man, oh man!
Thought I'd mention that I brought my dad's old Volcano 8-track tape on the OFF chance that Jimmy might autograph it from my 4th row seat in Dallas tonight... and HE DID!!!!
The show was over, Jimmy was saying goodnight, and I held up my tape with Sharpie attached. He looked at me and shouted, "8 track?! Whoa!", shocked that anyone might still own one.
So cool!!! This is definitely going on my rock shrine in my home.
Fins up, y'all. And to y'all good night.

Wes (if you're not Wes, you can safely ignore this, unless you like costumes, too), here are the pics we talked about (costuming):

I've also done Harry Potter: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn21 ... nclaw1.jpg
Mickey Mouse: http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn21 ... rcerer.jpg
And then there are those that apparently I don't have photos of online right now: Jedi, Star Trek Captain, and Stargate.
I have to get to work soon, so I must away, but I said I'd share pics, so here we are.
