It was an amazing show!!!!

Before the show started, I ask Larry if he thought JB would play The Weight as a tribute to Levon.
I'm sure my face was priceless when he started the tribute. :)
I have to say that was my favorite part. They really did that song and Levon justice.
Didn't they!!!
Since Peter and Jim didn't play guitar on the song, I wonder if they didn't have time to practice, so only JB and Mac were playing?
It was a great song.
I saw people video-ing it but haven't found it on Youtube yet.
So happy SunLover captured it...with all of us singing along!
I agree it was great watching it and thanks Sunlover so I can hear it anytime I want!!

Thanks for capturing the tribute John. Levon and The Band have always been right up there with JB for me. I had been thinking about heading up for his midnight ramble around my birthday this year. As awesome as this tribute would have been to see, I got to see my 10 year old son hit his first homerun to win his game that night instead. I wouldn't trade one for the other in a hundred years.
It was a pleasure and a hell of an evening
Truly was our night to win
But the authorities insist on my leaving
Take care my American friend

Bill, I completely understand. It sounds like you got the better part of that deal. We missed you at the tailgate, but the little league needed you. Don't forget to give me a call if you take the boys to a game in Arlington.

Cheers,

And the splice on "All Night Long" is barely noticeable. Very well done. Thank you SunLover!!

Maybe if we're real quiet about it, they won't show up. [smilie=battingeyes.gif]
