That being said, I heard it was a HOOT at Hoot Island....time to try out a new venue and new memories...although I don't think ANYTHING will top Frisco!

We love the PHarms.

I've got some calls out to downtown hotels, Magnolia included. We'll see. It's not very far out to Bill's neighborhood and there are a lot of less expensive chain motels on I30 North .... will post as soon as I can firm up some rates.

I will miss the Boyz from Boston ... my floor buddies.

But, I do love the venue ... nostalgia, I guess. I have so many memories of concerts there through college ... not just Bubba, either. Here's hoping Bill will make friends with the parking lot people and we can get dibs on the corner with the "real" island.

it has been awhile, I know! I went back to school and earned my bachelors, and now I am working on my masters.
I also lost my dad last year . He raised me on Jimmy so his music is bittersweet for now. So between school, loosing pop, and life in general BN kinda fell by the way side.
I had to resurface when I found out Jimmy is coming back to the island though!

PS: My first thought was that it was time to go "back to the island." Hoot Island was my first BN show, though I wasn't officially playing the BN game yet.

I love the Frisco venue, but like ETP and others, I have fond memories of Dallas.

And for me, Thursday works. I don't have to ask for time off! I was stressing that about a Sat show. (I work weekends.)
