This is indeed good news! Maybe that means we get a May date.

So I wonder if the previously mentioned rumor about the Houston show being at the new soccer stadium has any legs? I guess I'd be ok with that venue as long as we return to The Woodlands next year.

I am beginning to think Jimmy is might skip the south this year. I don't know why. Unless Houston has a indoor arena date open, It is way to hot in Houston in the summer. Come to Cincinnati show. Fins Up

Why do you say he is skipping the south? He is playing Dallas in April and has played Little Rock, Alabama, and Florida. If that isn't the south, then I don't know what is.
The majority of the shows for the new tour haven't been announed yet. Alpine and GW haven't been officially announced so is he skipping the east coast?
I've been to Cincy twice and it is a grand time. I'll probably be back in August. Don't make generalizations that he is skipping the south.

I posted the exact same thing in their other post. Jimmy has played many dates in the south this year, and he hasn't even announced all the dates yet.

Marc, June is fine with me.
I'll never forget a hot hot hot Tom Petty show on a Labor Day weekend at The Woodlands. Miserably hot!

As long a it is on a Saturday I am good with June. I'm on the road 3 out of the 4 weeks in June.
June tailgate in TX = crazy hot.
With the information that a Texas M'ville is suppose to open up later this year, I'm thinking a show may be in that town. I can see a M'ville on 6th street or the Riverwalk.

Where was the story about a Margaritaville in Texas?
My vote would be for Galveston.

Would Tillman F let Mville in Galveston?
I'm thinking more about on the riverwalk at the Woodlands

The Pleasure Pier would be an ideal location, but Tillman is building a Bubba Gumps there

I could see Margaritaville out on the old Flagship Hotel site. Or is that history since Ike?
(Nice to see the new fishing piers returning on the seawall.)

The Flagship location is the Pleasure Pier.
Google it
They are rebuilding it and it should open soon

Oh ok. I was thinking Pleasure Pier was the area in Kemah where Jimmy Walkers edgewater used to be.
Pleasure Pier is unique. Good to see something WILL be there.
Sorry... Didn't mean to get off the subject of Jimmy actually coming to The Woodlands. Any time would be just fine with me!!!!!
