Good news! This has been in the works for several years. It has been widely known around here that the group that runs the arena has been working on this and have been very close before. I would have guessed that after opening the new baseball stadium last year that he would be there, but the Century Link Center arena will be just fine. For anyone making the trip, it will be a great time. The arena is very good, better than most I have been to.

I just reserved my room!! I went with the Hampton Inn. Looks like there are a few within walking distance!

Just booked my room at Hilton. Right accross the street. It's about time. Still Alpine Valley is the best, only got a 20 min drive to this one.

I booked a room there too...we will pick when we know if there will be any kind of tailgating. I don't know if the hotels knew about this because the room rates seemed to be normal.

I have mixed feelings, too. This is definitely more convenient for me, but the only other venue I've ever seen Jimmy at is Alpine Valley. I don't think the CenturyLink parking lot can possibly compare!
