Their website (http://www.centurylinkcenteromaha.com) doesn't have a 'tailgating' section in the A-Z FAQ. But it does state the following about parking:
In accordance with CenturyLink Center Omaha rules, no liquid containers, bottles or cans will be permitted inside the facility. In accordance with the City of Omaha Ordinance Section 15-13, 15-14, no alcohol may be consumed within the CenturyLink Center Omaha Parking Premises. All vehicles and persons entering CenturyLink Center Omaha are subject to inspection.

Prohibited Items/Actions within the Parking Premises are, but not limited to:
Open Fires
Soliciting
Alcohol Consumption
Parking lots will close 90 minutes after the event’s conclusion. Those vehicles left 90 minutes after the event’s conclusion may be towed at owner’s expense. No overnight parking is allowed.

Des Moines too on Tuesday (Apr. 17th).

We are staying at the CourtYard.. Will be there on Friday Night...

I've been working on this show (in my mind anyway) for the past 25 years. Finally, the payoff!

The arena is 9 years old and sits on the northern edge of the dowtown with the Missouri river bordering to the east. If you come in town on Friday, the 'Old Market' is the bar district and resides 6 blocks south of the arena.

The Embassy Suites is located on the edge of the Old Market and would be a good choice if you're going to spend time in both the Market and at the Arena. Along your walk from the Old Market to the Arena you will pass a Hilton Garden Inn and a Marriott Courtyard (each about 3 blocks away). Connected to the arena is another Hilton (the downtown Hilton). Yesterday their rooms were $119 and today they're $179. What are ya gonna do? Across from the Arena is TD Ameritrade Ballpark which is the new home of the College World Series and across the street from the ballpark is a Holiday Inn and a Hampton Inn. All of these are walking distance to the arena.

I will be curious as to how the tailgating is handled. Last summer I was out of town for the College World Series so I need to do some research and see how things were handled (as it was a HUGE tailgating event in prior years at Rosenblatt stadum).
