Yup, like Linda said, Labor Day weekend at the Beachcomber is sounding like more of a plan. When Chris & Tam get back maybe they can come up with some entertainment to go along with it! I've also kind of lost interest in the concert - I think Jon's idea was a good one - though obviously way over the top - it's good in principle

i don't think They would let you have a concert on the beach ( legally )......plus the beachcomber would want to profit.....sounds great on paper , not sure it could be pulled off. but, again anything is possible.

That's why you should never write anything with any serious value on anything but a napkin from a great bar.

I have it from good authority (my-cousin's-boyfriend's-brother-in-law's-girlfriend's-neighbor's-gardener, whose nephew works for a bar that serves Landshark!) that Jimmy's only stopping at obscure towns and venues. Tickets will go on sale a day and a half before the show and tailgating won't be allowed...

Hate to say it but starting to hope Jimmy takes his "sweet time" announcing his dates. Some people on here seem to think it's their god given right to have a deadline as to JB making his announcements. I'm not talking about the pholks who are just anxious, but the ones who are pizzing & moaning to high heaven & DEMANDING that the King of Somewhere Hot get his dates out so they can plan their Vacations. Granted, it would be helpful to some but c'mon....keep the beetching down please!
Maybe, just maybe there is still a lot of negotiating going on out there, or JB is still mapping out HIS summertime strategy.

My guess: Jones Beach August 11, the day before the "Warrior Dash" race I signed up for, the race with the non-refundable $63 registration fee. No way I'll be able to do both on the same weekend.

My hope: Jones Beach August 18, hubby's bday.

Funny.........had a dream last night I was browsing Pollstar for Buffett dates & I saw Saskatoon Saskatchewan, Winnipeg Manitoba & other "Up North" Canadian cities.
Must have been the "Lounging by the Ice Pond" Tour!
Regarding the local show here in Michigan it was listing Spartan Stadium.

And no.........sorry to say.........Boise was not on the list.
