hi, I am new to this site but JB's music has been the soundtrack of my life, from college days to now. I have only been to 8 (9 if you count twice in one day) concerts. I live in the burbs of Orlando with my husband (20+ concerts) and our two four legged children (they bark). we are going to see JB on 9/26/13 - a bucket list check mark. I would love to connect with others and make some life long friends.

Hi, I'm ... eh, let's leave out my actual first name as I have none of the lawyers, guns or money I'd need to get out of it ...
Two decades in newspapers, currently landlocked, pretty sure I haven't found my one particular harbour yet, still looking for that blonde stranger.
I'll be back here trying to blend in with the wallpaper.

The booming metropolis of Avon Park.
(as you can tell by the amount of time it took me to read and answer, I have failed on trying to connect back on the board more frequently......

Hi, phlock...from someone who pops in once in a blue moon, mostly when I'm homesick for the east coast, sigh.

Greetings Folks! Been around, but new here. Some may recognize me from past run-ins and travels. Anyway, been a fan since a friend turned me on to YHTBT and first heard "Dixie Diner". I asked my buddy, "Who is this?!?" referring to the ripping harmonica playing, and in a smoky haze my friend responded, "Jimmy Buffett". So for the next two months as I started to collect JB albums, I was clearly under the impression Jimmy Buffett was incredible singer/songwriter, and an absolutely amazing harp player! LOL....
Anyway, heading to Las Vegas this weekend for the third straight year and hope to see some of you again for a repeat of hella fun and disorderly shenanigans.

Hi Everybody,
My name is Tom, I live in the vicinity of Tampa Bay, on Florida's Gulf Coast.
I am old enough to recall when Jimmy would pass through this area and perform at places like the Mad Beach Bar.
He was on his way to becoming a legend. I was passing through Key Largo recently and spotted this sign by a resort. Too bad they did not know him well enough to know how to spell his name.
Anyway, the bottom line is very likely true.

Good evening to everyone.. I am another old newbie. I may have spent some time here in a previous , and there are most likely still a few people here that are sad to see I can still fog a mirror. But things change and people do to.
I was the original jasonmason, or JaMa as some shortened it to, I had the luxury of working in a place that was very lax on computer monitoring, so I was usually around to hand out a gift or 2 to welcome newbies. That is my only claim to fame here.
It is good to see a lot of old names, some things only get better over the years.

Hi, I am Australian- but don't hold that against me- My husband and I are visiting USA in April, After an awesome visit in 2012 doing route 66 we are now doing the east coast.
We are both huge JB fans for many years and loved the margaritaville bars, We spent a lot of time in Chicago and Vegas, as well as Sydney here in Oz.
We have planned to do many more during our trip Orlando , key west, Biloxi, panama, pensicola Niagara and vegas again...
When I found out there was a concert in West Palm Beach, at the same time we are close to there, I googled , got tickets arranged a train from Orlando there, now we just need some Ideas on where to stay, and some information about the tailgate parties, they look like a whole lot of fun.
The Phins down under club suggested I ask you guys???
