Product Question

I'm busily Cafe Press-ing and wanted to ask y'all a question. Has Margaritaville done a design like this with the compass rose for the "O" in O'clock. I can't remember and I don't want to tick off the powers that be.

Thanks. Had a beachy inspiration with all the nice weather.
I don't want to duplicate anybody's work. If you guys see anything that's too close let me know.

Nice designs!
I use Zazzle for my surf shop. Periodically they go after anyone using the terms
"parrothead", "parrot head", etc.
and not just in the designs
but ALSO in the TAGS used to promote the designs.
I think CafePress is not so diligent, but be careful,
I notice that many of your designs mention "Jimmy Buffett"
and/or "Parrot Head" in their description.
BTW ... your signature needs the second URL fixed.

Margaritaville emailed me about some that I had on zazzle. I fixed them. Cafe press has blocks on search engines looking up forbidden words and phrases so it's not an issue on it.

Just checked Trademark office
http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f= ... bmit+Query
Leave a space in parrot head and as long as it's not cosmetics, bath products or sunscreen you're golden.

I know you didn't ask for opinions, so feel free to skip to the next post/thread.
While it is pretty and unique, honestly, I wouldn't buy anything featuring this design. My eye skips over the compass and reads it as "It's Five Clock Somewhere". The "O" border around the compass isn't prominent enough to read as an "O" for "O'Clock".
Sorry.....

Buffett may not care, I don't know but Alan Jackson, or the writers, Jim Brown & Don Rollins may. Also Arista (I think) is Jacksons label, I wonder what copyright, IP or trade marks they have registered...

Alan Jackson doesn't have any.
Jimmy has it on casinos, bars, fireplace sets, barware, blenders, poker chips and gaming machines. Weird mix of stuff that comes up at the trademark office.
