?? I thought it just said Jake when tickets went on sale? Maybe I didn't read the fine print. Regardless, I fully expect it to be a spectacular show.

I believe we have one extra ticket available for sale, for front row center, at the end. Face = $47, hard ticket. PM me if interested.

It is a chamber orchestra, not a full orchestra, but this will definitely be a different experience.

Nothing like last minute. Got 3rd row seats on livenation and a hotel room from a fellow BN'er yesterday. Gonna be a great day. Anyone else staying at the Sleep Inn?

I'll trump your last minutes! Thanks Jenn for the tickets! We have the yellow Escape with last yrs Welcome to Fin Land on the side! Sugar free boat drinks in individual spring water bottles if you need one (spring water or Diet Sprite, Mio flavor, coconut water, rum). Just the basics for a quickie JB run!

Totally lucked out yesterday. Bonnie from here wrote and said she had an extra room so I went to check livenation and Section 104, Row C, seats 5&6 popped up.

Hello everyone!! Ok, we are always at the Chicago shows, but I always forget to come on here beforehand to get included in the festivities! We're there. Probably get there around 2pm, hopefully. We've got a blue-ish Jeep Wrangler. We'll have plenty of beer, probably some margaritas and some snacks.

I'm Tara, hubby's name is Mike!! Can't wait. Just listened to the TP replay from last year...hopefully the power stays on this year. It's going to be a hot one.

The front row seat would put you sitting with me, my friend, and my boyfriend. One of the best parts of Jake's show is watching his hands, so up close and personal will rock. Let me know if you want it, and we can meet up Saturday for me to get it to you.

Still closest seat to the stage is only row N in section 103. Looks like I won't be going unless one pops up by saturday morning

matt-I think they are talking about Jake's concert at Ravinia on Sunday.

OK, I am still not sure of my plans, but....

1 PM. Holiday Inn parking lot. gather the cars in the lot, nearest Harlem, and at the southern most part of the lot (nearest the venue). Post here if you are going to meet there so someone knows who to check on. Then that group (which I may or may not be in) can try to caravan over and get in line. I would also suggest that the group decide when the traffic line has two lanes, stay in the right lane, so if someone gets left behind, they will wind up close to the rest of the group.

I don't know of anyone bringing a grill that early (and if it is as hot as today, you may not want to grill). So.....if nobody chimes in with a grill, bring food that doesn't have to be grilled. Be sure to have things to keep hydrated. Fruit isn't a bad idea.

make sure you have the cell phone # of someone in the group.

Again, I may or may not be that early--probably will, but I will probably need to stay under Dave's canopy.

If this plan isn't acceptable, somebody suggest something else.

Looks like a good plan, Ellen. I have a feeling my group may want to linger longer in the cool of the hotel before venturing out into the furnace, but I could be wrong. It seems to me like they had a nice atrium inside, but I may be confusing it with somewhere else.
