Well anyone know the story on the parking lot? This is on Live nations A/V website

Early Parking Lot Entry: We charge $20 for cars and $50 for limos or oversized vehicles for entry to the parking lots prior to the schedule lot time. Cash only – day of onsite.

So does that mean you can show up whenever now? Funny thing is they do not list the scheduled lot time. I remember this charge last year that most got out of.

I think the last few years the lot has opened around 1:30 if I remember correctly and last year they charged the 20.00. But the above makes it sound like you can show up when ever now.

Traditionally, gates open when traffic backs up from gate to the on-ramp, when Walworth county cops declare it unsafe to allow traffic to back up further. I think I've heard the venue cannot open more than 5 hours prior to show by ordinance, but the public safety concern over-rides. That happens anywhere from 12:00 to 1:30 at latest.

Everybody entering before 3:00 pays $20, but I wonder how they get folks in the 1:30-2:00 window to pay rather than pull over & wait.

Have a wonderful time at Alpine Saturday everyone

This is the first time in 12 years (except 2005 when there wasn't a JB show at Alpine b/c he played Wrigley Field)
I will miss the festivities.

Hopefully now I will go another 12 years before another family member or close friend decides to pick
Bubba's Alpine weekend to get married at least they are cool family members and throwing a reception with open bar

(((( hugs )))) for my BN buddies I will miss seeing....

hope to catch you all next year! or....see ya in Vegas on 10/20/12!

First miss for me in 12 years with an asterisk too! I'll miss y'all too, but wish you a most excellent day! Great memories in my pocket from last year's show though!

Looks like I'll make it to the Two Seasons Bowl Buffett Bash again however, and look forward to some hugs and hellos!

Yea I know but it now sounds like show up when ever and pay 20.00 before scheduled open.

Just found out the couple we're (supposed to be?) going to the concert with are both battling bad cases of the flu

Good Lord, I remember the year my brother had the flu and we literally dragged his ass to Alpine! Even though he slept through most of the parking lot festivities, he did make it in to the show and had a great time despite being completely sober! Who knew???

Update no rain... But still hot and humid.
Seems every years its either really hot or really cool. I remeber a few years ago when it barely made it into the 50's and was a light rain most of the concert. That was chilly, would rather have this.

This thread seems a little slow this year with only 2 days to go.
This is my girlfriends first year to go. My brother forgot to bring the generator to me since he cant go this year because he is in Germany. UGGGGGGGG
