First Midwest Amphitheatre in Tinley Park
I just spoke to a rep there (3/23 at 4:30 pm) and she said that the J.B. camp and the city still haven't worked out a deal regarding tailgating. It's a city ban not the venue. She said if the city allows it for just this show, then they would allow it. She said, and I quote, ...." all the I's and the T's have not been dotted and crossed with the city, that's why it's not "official" on their site yet...." So there's still hope! She said hat there will be a decision before the tickets go on sale and to cal back later next week to verify what the ruling is.

We used to go through this every year with this venue. the party will inevitably start in the Holiday Inn lot and then move depending on when they let us in.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

I just talked to someone, and the vibe that I'm getting is that they probablly won't let it happen if on a limited basis. They don't have any info now and that I should call back tomorrow and maybe the city will have a decision. To me it's not worth it. I'm gonna wait for Alpine. It just sucks that I got a place that I could be at in less than a half an hour with traffic and I got to drive almost 2 hours just to enjoy the whole experience.
