I would do both shows that way, too. As it is, I am looking at only GW. Too much going on around then (money wise and time wise) to do both so close together.

That's why the face on the ticket is so high - to make them feel they're getting more than the experience is actually worth. a lot of the people that are backstage are non- parrotheads , i had the pleasure of being backstage at a show last year. it's all corporate or sponsor personel there for the free drinks and food.....i think there was maybe a 1/2 dozen Parrotheads back there.

My only exposure to a VIP area was Jones Beach, and those people were JERKS. My friend got pee'd on and they did nothing but talk all through the concert.

Yup, this VERY drunk guy behind us thought it was too much trouble to go the mens room and decided to whip it out and pee in his now empty beer cup. Several people got splashed and his big mouth drunk girlfriend couldn't figure out why they were asked to leave after that.

That sux.....i was backstage at JB last year , wasn't many Parrotheads by definition of Parrotheads back there , some were dressed as if they just got out of work . some food , some drink......some of the Coral Reefers came out for a few minutes and chatted. I chatted with Mike Utley for about 20 minutes .....what was funny is , i didn't recognise him at all , he was dressed real wragge and unshaven , but he came up to me to say hi....said Hi to Peter and Jim quick. Then they went in and it was almost show time , well at least we thought so , hour delay due to severe thunderstorms in the area

It looks like this is about to go from rumor to reality.

I was just gonna ask if anyone had any more info on this.We are hoping the rumor is true. We are looking forward to doing 2 shows this year,and this and GW are going to be it.Plus we have friends that cant make GW and were going to come up for this show.

I've been hearing things from my Parrot Head Club. Waiting for a concrete confirmation but I'd bet money this is going to happen.
