Honestly never heard of that before (of course, things do change ). I'm not aware of any obstructed view seats. You could check on the venue's website (their seating chart) to be sure.
Anyone else heard of this?
There is nothing wrong with the seats outside of they are near the back of the venue before the lawn section. As long as you don't mind paying $100 more a ticket for basically the same view the lawn has I'd say go for it. I don't believe JLL has any obstructed view seats.

Just looking at the seating chart I would suggest though that you get tickets in section 303.

305 is fine. Obviously it's the back corner section, but otherwise there's nothing wrong with them. It's a no-brainer to me that I'd buy the cheap seats over the lawns if they're the same price. If it rains, you have a place to go. Otherwise, you have the option to just go on the lawn if you want. If you're sure you're going, I'd snatch them up. There are no obstructed view tix. Jimmy usually has a small quantity of cheap seats at the back of the pavilion.

I was going to bump this thread the other day, but the Bristow thread just doesn't have the love that it used to back in 2010. The stupid tailgating rule of last year ruined one of the best events of the year. I am still going to Bristow this year, but sadly a lot of people aren't.

After last year, even though this is the closest venue to my home that JB performs, I just can't go back there again........stupid management.

I probably am, although I haven't gotten tickets yet. Not that I'm worried about it. And the whole no tailgating really has killed it. Plus, September seems like forever.

Same deal here. I suppose, being Labor Day weekend, a trip to the beach could trump the Buffett show, but I have it penciled into my calendar.
As soon as I open my mouth today, I get informed that there's a baptism that afternoon for a close friend's child. Bristow is now in jeopardy for me.
