Who's going to Jones Beach 8/30?

Managed to snatch up a couple tickets (not same row, but one right behind the other)... didn't realize until today that tickets went on sale. This will be my first concert after quite a few years of listening to Buffett music every night, and I'm pretty excited!

Yay! Jones Beach is a great place to see your first concert! Are you mentally prepared for the tailgate?

I'm only using 2 vacation days which I wasn't sure I would get since it's a guaranteed 3 day weekend for everyone at work (Memorial Day weekend is a 2 day weekend for those working on that Saturday).

I still have a couple years before it can be a real party, but I figured a couple shows' practice won't hurt.

And I got the e-mail that my tickets "have been printed & will ship shortly" -So yes we are ready!!!!!!

I agree -- so excited about returning to JB @ JB. I'm hoping to meet some of you guys there! That being said, I don't want to rush the summer. We start the festivities on June 23 @ Great Woods this year! But hubby and I will be at Jones Beach bright and early on 8/30. Last year we arrived around ten, but I understand there is a dawn patrol???
