The forecast has changed from 83 and sunny to 80 and partly cloudy, but still only a 10% chance of rain. I'll take a day like we're having on LI right now, it's only 78 degrees but when I walked up the block to 7-11 to buy the newspaper it was beautiful out.

As long as the drenching rain that hit us last year stays away it's all good!

Now trying to see how early I can get hubby to head down!

We're dropping the dog off at doggy camp in Nanuet, NY about 7:30 Thursday morning and expect to arrive at Jones Beach around 9:00-9:30 a.m.

Hubby and I went shopping this weekend and stocked up on alcohol. Tonight I'll start making the first batch of the 150+ Jello shots that we will be bringing and giving out. I'm still recovering from surgery so it may be mostly my husband walking around, handing the shots out. Think anyone will have a problem taking a Jello shot from a hairy guy wearing a coconut bra?
